Create an Assignee

You can easily create multiple assignees on the Triochat dashboard to manage customer chats from a single number. Each workspace member logs in with their own credentials and can only access the chats specifically assigned to them or their designated team.


To create/add an assignee/ workspace member:

Step 1: Access Settings

Go to Settings.

Step 2: Navigate to Members

Go to Members from the left navigation bar.

Step 3: Invite New Members

Click on Invite Members option at the top right corner.

Step 4: Enter Email Address

Enter the team member's email address in the provided field, which they will use to log in to their Triochat account.

Step 5: Assign Role

Give a role to the assignee such as:

  • Admin - who can add, edit and delete requests, collections and workspace members
  • Viewer - who can only view and use requests
  • Editor - who can add, edit and delete requests

Choose the assignee's role from the dropdown menu as well or in case you wish to change the role in future.

Step 6: Complete Invitation

The assignee will receive an email to accept the invitation for accessing the platform. Login by adding details.

Step 7: Assign Conversations

As the member is added successfully to Workspace Members, you can assign the particular chat to the workspace member/ assignee.
