Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?

Yes, you can use an existing WhatsApp number. However, before onboarding, you must first delete the WhatsApp account linked to that number. Launch the WhatsApp app on your phone. Navigate to "Settings" → "Account" → "Delete my account". Enter your phone number and confirm.

Note: WhatsApp chat backups cannot be imported into your TrioChat account.

What does WhatsApp message-based pricing mean if WhatsApp is free?

While WhatsApp is free for individuals, the WhatsApp Business API uses a conversation-based pricing model. Meta charges based on:

  • User-Initiated Conversations (UIC): Customer messages first.
  • Business-Initiated Conversations (BIC): You send a template message outside the 24-hour window.
  • Categories: Marketing, Utility, Authentication, Service.
  • Region: Pricing varies by customer country code.

Free Tier: The first 1,000 user-initiated conversations per month are free.

Do you have any cancellation fees?
