How to Create Interactive WhatsApp Message Templates on Triochat?

Follow the below steps to create interactive WhatsApp Message Templates in Triochat:

Step 1: Access Message Templates

Go to Message Template from the left navigation.

Step 2: Create New Template

Click on Create New Template button on top right corner. Provide a Category for the Message Template.

Step 3: Template Customization

Customize the WhatsApp Template with Template Name and language, Headers, emojis in the Body, adding variables to personalize the Message Template for every customer, add engaging footer, buttons with quick replies, or button with CTAs.

Template Name

Type the name of the template here, such that the reviewer will understand the purpose of the template from the name itself. You can only use lower case alphabets, numbers and underscores to name your template.

Language

Click on the dropdown to see the list of supported languages that are available. Simply select the language you want to use in your message template.

Media

You have an option to add a media attachment by clicking on the media type that you want to include in the template. When you select a media type, you will have to add a sample media on the next page, before submitting it for approval.

Body Text

Next, fill in all the information in the body text as per your template requirement. You can also add variables in the body text. You can also edit the text using features such as Bold, Italic and Strikethrough.

Variables

Variables in message template allow you to personalize the content by dynamically inserting specific information for each customer. They act as placeholders that are replaced with actual values when the template is used to send a message.

You can also type in the footer text, which is optional.

Step 4: Button Configuration

Create buttons that let customers respond to your message or take action. You can add upto 10 buttons. If you add more than 3 buttons, they will appear in a list.

Button Types

There are three options in buttons:

  • "No Button"
  • "CTA Buttons"
  • "Quick Replies"

Button Functions

  • Phone Number - Users can call your company's number with one click
  • URL - Any link or Extension only - Users can be redirected to any link or extension with one click
  • Copy Code - Users can copy the code for the offers

Step 5: Submit and Wait

Submit for Review. Wait till the WhatsApp Message Template is approved. Once the template is approved, wait for 1-2 days before sharing this Message Template with your customers.
